About
This is an initiative of collaboration between Aisya Academy and Faculty of Administrative Science (FSPPP) in developing massive open online course (MOOC) by using Open Learning and Wix. The courses provided are based on the programme Bachelor of Administrative Science (AM228) in UiTM.
The overview of the courses are laid out for students to understand what the course is about. The contents in the courses includes the course description, chapters, and learning outcomes. The tools used in spreading educational content includes forum discussions, online assessments, media content (pictures and videos), mind maps and handbooks.
Purpose
- Provide a standardized and well-structured course in executing pedagogy activities for FSPPP
- Reduce teaching efforts as the contents are provided online for students to access (Rugina, 2015)
- Give convenience for students to study at their own pace and arouse enthusiasm for them to engage in learning the course
- Discuss matters and applying theories learned in relation to social science
- Realise the vision of former Ministry of Higher Education, Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh on teaching using internet-based technology
Course Content
The content in the courses provided includes the
- course description, which is portrayed before students decide to enroll in the course;
- chapters;
- and learning outcomes.
The tools used in spreading educational content includes
- forum discussions,
- online assessments,
- media content (pictures and videos),
- mind maps
- and a PDF version of a handbook.
